Employees will discover the fundamental principles of high performance strategies and learn how to implement them at the office in high-pressure situations.

Workshops run 15-120 minutes and include time for questions and discussion.

Looking to develop your people? Try our 1-on-1 Performance Coaching

Employees are engaged in 1-on-1 coaching sessions to develop a customized plan to further develop their progress. Together, we work to identify their personal goals, barriers, struggles, and overall mindset and teach them the mental skills to perform at their best. Upon learning how to integrate new mental skills, employees will be able to diagnose their own performance and self-correct in the moment in order to optimize their and their teams’ performance.

Matt Comand

Director Of Performance

With over 10 years of coaching experience, Matt has developed expertise in areas such as mental skills training, personal behaviour change, leadership development, and team dynamics. Upon earning his Masters of Sport & Performance Psychology at the University of Denver, Matt was a professor at Humber College for 5 years and has worked with clients in professional, athletic, and academic settings. In 2019, he founded Emergent, a High Performance Consulting firm.

Ben Sylvester

Head Of Research

For Dr. Ben Sylvester, high performance is a personal and professional passion.  A varsity athlete in university, Ben has a PhD in Behaviour Change from the University of British Columbia. He is an award-winning researcher and an expert in well-being and motivation. He is a scientist with the Department of National Defence where he uses applied research to develop and implement evidence-based knowledge for clients.

We brought Matt in to lead High Performance Mindset Training for our team of 15 people at Willful. It was the middle of lockdown, and COVID-19 had led to everyone feeling burnt out, anxious, and not their best selves (personally or professionally). The themes Matt covers in his program - resilience, optimism, confidence, communication - were so timely for our team, and would apply to any team regardless of external forces like a pandemic. Within a couple weeks of starting his 12-week program I was approached by team members across all levels of the organization saying it was the best corporate training program they'd been through, and the feedback only got more positive as the weeks progressed.
